In August 2024, Roger Schäli and Romano Salis successfully completed the ascent of all three Palü pillars in the Bernina Massif using "Climb & Fly." In the interview, Roger shares personal insights into the preparation, equipment, and execution of the trilogy. As part of the reconstruction of the popular SAC hut "Glärnisch" in the summer of 2023, a basecamp is being constructed nearby, offering a similar experience to those found in the Himalayas, but much closer to home. The basecamp includes tents, mats, and sleeping bags provided by EXPED. 

In the latest issue of Outdoor Magazine, the EXPED Venus II Extreme was put to the test. The verdict for the test winner, Venus II Extreme, states: "This excellently crafted 4-season dome tent impresses in every aspect with great attention to detail, securing its victory in the test."

Together with Mathieu Maynadier and Simon Gietl, our brand ambassador Roger Schäli succeeded in making the first ascent of the southeast face of Meru Peak. They named the challenging route "Goldfish". 

We support Protect Our Winters Switzerland (POW), the voice of the outdoor community for climate protection. This nonprofit organization aims to strengthen the outdoor community's commitment to climate protection through awareness-raising and political advocacy.

If you've purchased an Icefall since December 2022, it may have a production defect. It has been found that the backpacks from the production series with LOT number 2270 have a webbing discoloration issue.
