Mountain Pro document pocket

Transparent, removable, and weatherproof document bag made of high quality UV resistant TPU film. Can be used to hold hydration bladder, wet gear, first aid kit, MP3 players, etc.

Mountain Pro ice axe stowaway function

Ice axe stash function: slide the ice axe diagonally through the grey grab handle.

Mountain Pro removable hipbelt

Removable slim shaped hipbelt carries the weight without obstructing a climbing harness.

Mountain Pro seam taped construction

Virtually waterproof in design with fully taped seams, a downpour will not drench spare clothes, chalk bag, or guide book.

Mountain Pro velco tidies

All adjustable straps have velcro tidies to keep the strap ends from flapping in the wind.

Mountain Pro roll top closure and draw cord

Seal the pack with the fold and roll closure in wet weather. The draw cord gathers and controls the top part of the pack.

Mountain Pro pen holder

Elastic pen holders are integrated in lid pocket. The carabiner here also serves as a practical key holder.

Mountain Pro lid closure 2

Quick closing option: use only one carabiner attached to the central loop.

Mountain Pro internal gear loops

2 internal gear loops for organization: clip climbing hardware here to keep it out ofthe bottom of the pack. 4 multi-purpose webbing straps are included.

Mountain Pro ski fixation diagonal 1

Just use two of the included quick release webbing straps.

Mountain Pro ski fixation bottom 2

For the minimalists out there who ski with a pin binding (like Dynafit, Plum etc.)and without hipbelt can use an attachment technique that works without straps and other attachment aids.

Mountain Pro ski fixation side 3

Lateral ski attachment made easy: feed the 4 included webbing-straps (2 on each side of the pack) through the daisy chains. The strap length can be adjusted steplessly depending on ski-width.

Mountain Pro ski fixation bottom 1

Place the ski pair between your back and pack on the shoulder harness straps. Not the most comfortable option, but quick and easy for short stretches.

Mountain Pro ski fixation top

In order to secure the skis, clip the karabiner (found in the interior lid pocket) to the drawcord and run the cord through the grey webbing loop as a pulley.

Apart from the two standard ski attachment techniques (lateral and diagonal), when in open country the skis can also be clamped under the pack lid without the need of additional straps. This technique is actually very comfortable as the skis are positioned close to the body and the load sits right next to the shoulders.
